Bryan Bruce Wheeler, age 44, returned to his Father in Heaven on Saturday, November 16, 2019.

Bryan was born in Kearny, AZ on March 30, 1975 to Bruce and Linda Wheeler. In 1982, at the age of 7, the Wheeler family moved to White Rock, NM. Growing up he enjoyed fishing, camping, riding motorcycles and loved skateboarding. His early ambition was to be a professional skateboarder.

After graduating from Los Alamos, High School in 1993, Bryan chose a new ambition and started an apprenticeship with the local 412 as a pipefitter. He kept a permanent residence in Albuquerque, NM. He also really enjoyed traveling for work in different states and meeting new people. Along the way he made many stops to visit family, friends and see many beautiful monuments. He would also frequently send pictures of the jobs he was working on back to his family. Spending time with family and friends was very important to him.

Bryan is survived by his parents, Bruce and Linda Wheeler; his sisters, Cheri Wheeler (Mathew Guy), Kimberly Pace (Daniel), and Melinda Gyger (Matthew); 6 nieces and 4 nephews and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be dearly missed.

We invite friends and family to a memorial held in his honor. The service will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, November 30, 2019, 11:00 a.m. 366 Grand Canyon Dr., White Rock, NM.

Obituary for John Saldivar

El Paso – John Frank Saldivar, May 24, 1936 – Nov. 11, 2019, lifelong resident of El Paso and graduate of Austin High School Class of 1955. Born to Genaro and Francisca Saldivar. Following in his father’s footsteps as a barber, he owned and operated Eastwood Barbershop from 1961 to 1978. Long hair styles of the 70s convinced him to change careers and he became a refrigeration mechanic retiring after 23 years, working for Johnson Controls and belonging to the Pipefitters Local 412.

John is survived by his wife of 57 years Blasa, sister Bertha Carranza (Hector), children, John Saldivar Jr, Monica Aguirre (Cesar) and Gene Saldivar (Norma). Six Grand Children and 4 Great Grandchildren.

An avid golfer, he was members of the Horizon and Santa Teresa Country Clubs, and later played exclusively at Ascarate Golf Course. He was a member of the PAGA, Tortugas and Conejos golf associations.

His favorite football team was the Green Bay Packers; his second favorite was anybody who beat the Dallas Cowboys.

Farmington – Justin Wade Cole was born October 16, 1980 and passed on October 7, 2019 at the age of 38. Justin put his heart into everything and into every role he had throughout his life. Justin was a loving father, son, brother, grandson and friend to those close to him. His love for his family and friends will continue to echo within out hearts and throughout our memories.

Justin was a loving father and his entire world was about his children. He would do anything in his power for them. He always talked about them to everyone. He took care of every aspect of their lives. Justin always gave them kisses, hugs and told them how proud he was of them and how much they meant to him. He was their rock and they were his strength.

Justin was a journeyman pipefitter and belonged to the Pipefitter Local 412 for the last 12 years of his life. He was a dedicated worker, put everything into being the best, and could out work anyone in his profession. He was proud of his pipefitter trade and took it seriously.

Justin is survived by his children, Lindsey, Dillon, Damien and Taylor. He left behind his brother, Jared Cole (Lauren) sister Jessica Thurgood (Brandon), his mother, Victoria Lacey, father George Cole, grandparents Joseph Weisgerber and Arlene Cole. He also left behind numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Justin’s memorial service will be on Thursday, October 17th.

Age 61, passed away Friday, September 6, 2019. He was born in Farmington, NM on August 18, 1958, to John Maloof and Gloria Rudolph. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children, Stephen Hardy and Chelsea Hardy Flores; siblings, Brenda Jo Maloof, Johnny Maloof, Jeff Maloof, and Paul (Diana) Maloof; nieces, Austen Maloof, EmiLeigh Maloof, and Monet Maloof; nephews, Lawrence Maloof and Jeffrey George Maloof; as well as many dear friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2019, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., with Rosary to follow at 5:00 p.m. in Daniels Family Funeral Services – Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.

Mass will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019, 10:30 a.m., in Sangre De Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112. Interment to follow same day at 1:30 p.m. in Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501.

Obituary for Carlos Carrasco Sr.

El Paso – Carlos Carrasco, age 99 of El Paso, Texas passed away of natural causes on the 4th of July, 2019. Carlos was born on September 13, 1919 to Jose and Carolina Elizalde and welcomed by his sister Maria Antonia. He was drafted in 1941 and served in the New Guinea Campaign where he received 1 Bronze Star, American Defense Ribbon and Good Conduct Ribbon. After returning to El Paso he met and married Isabel Juarez, who preceded him in death. He joined the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentice of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry and maintained his membership for 74 years. He is survived by his children Irma, Carlos R., Belinda Garcia (Marco) and Jesus, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 nephew Gary O. Hawkins (Farzaneh). Last but not least is Petey his little bully that has been by his bedside until his last breath. To Margarita, who has been his caregiver for 2 years, Thank you. Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 10, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Vigil to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday July 11, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he attended Sunday mass since his childhood. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.

Celebration of Life for Garry C. Tolbert

Garry Tolbert, 74, of Peralta, NM, passed away Friday, June 21st, 2019.

A memorial service (Celebration of Life) will be held on July 12th, 2019 at the Belen Sheriff’s Posse at 7:00p.m.

Garry was born on January 28, 1945 in Albuquerque, NM to Cecil and Jean Tolbert . He graduated from Valley High School and attended New Mexico State University. He married Sharon in 1964 and they were married for over 54 years. He worked as a pipe fitter and welder and retired in 2007 from the Local 412 Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, rodeos and spending time with family and friends. Garry was a very loving husband, father, son and brother.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Tolbert of Peralta; two daughters, Renee Tolbert of Albuquerque and Robbie Harter and husband Dan Harter of Amarillo, Texas; one son, Lance Tolbert and wife, Donna of Belen; five granddaughters, Kayla King of Tularosa, Bryonna Klunker of Belen, Jesse Andrews of Peralta, Karlie and Katie Harter of Amarillo and one grandson, Cody Harter. One niece, Jan Stearns Rael of Atlanta, GA and one nephew, Mike Stearns of Amarillo, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Jean Tolbert and his sister, Gayle Stearns.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory be made to Horsin’ Around Therapeautic Riding Center.

Obituary for Richard J. Meagher

Farmington – Richard James “Irish Pat” Meagher, a Veteran in the Air Force, 77, passed away peacefully March 28, 2019. Richard was born to parents Hazel and James Meagher on May 23, 1941 in Fair Haven, Vermont.

Pat was a small business owner and a boilermaker by trade. He traveled to different construction sites across the country including building the Alaska Pipeline. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and enjoyed boating and fishing in his spare time. He was a lifelong member of the “Idle Hour Club” in New York.

Pat is preceded in death by his parents; Hazel and James Meagher, son; Paul Meagher, daughter; Jamie Meagher and sister; Kathleen Dierberger.

He is survived by his loving wife Amy Massirio, step-son; Eric Leef, daughter; Shannon (Pedro) Hernandez, step-daughter; Elizabeth Leef and grandchild; Alex Hernandez.
