Richard Minor Mahan, 74, of Aztec, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at San Juan Center in Farmington. He was born Jan. 26, 1943, in Gallup. A rosary will be recited for Richard a7 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 424 N. Mesa Verde in Aztec. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish, 424 N. Mesa Verde in Aztec with Father David “Per” Tate as celebrant. Interment will follow at Aztec Community Cemetery, 700 Chamisa Ave. in Aztec. Richard’s care is entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel of Aztec, 405 S. Main Ave., 505-334-9332.
