SAMUEL KANE ORTIZ
Our beloved father, son, and brother – Samuel Kane Ortiz, III, age 58 of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 in Albuquerque. He was born on April 7, 1962 in San Leandro, CA. He was the son of Samuel Kane Ortiz and Frances Martinez. Samuel was a commercial plumber and a member of the New Mexico Pipe Trades Local #412 Union.
He is preceded in death by his Father and sister Karen Marie Lopez. Samuel is survived by his mother, Frances McDowell and husband Jay of Raton, four sons, Samuel Ortiz and wife Amanda of Steamboat Springs, CO. Alfonso Ortiz and wife Stacy of Raton. Joseph Ortiz of Raton and Jordan Ortiz of Trinidad, CO. One sister, Lillian Esparza and husband Rafael of Albuquerque, one step-sister Debra Valdez Martinez and husband Daniel of Denver, CO., and many cousins and friends.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be recited by Frank Cimino Jr. on Friday June 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow with Connie Shields officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Calvery Cemetary in Raton.
Limited funeral attendance and celebration of love for Samuel Kane Ortiz are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton.
